Wooden pallets are very versatile and its uses are virtually endless. We have seen in many posts entire walls covered with pallet planks, but never a whole house!
This is the case of the house that you can see in the pictures, where the architects have chosen to use recycled wood to cover and protect it from the solar impact. Obviously most of this wood comes from the pallets boards.
The irregular nature of the coat gives a very rustic feel, and it fits perfectly with the decor of the house.
The house is located in Tijuana, Mexico, in Baja California. And it’s a bioclimatic house project, that means housing that is intended to cause the least possible environmental impact, using recycled materials to build it and consuming just a little bit of energy for its supply.
It may be a good idea to copy this initiative for your future home, so I hope these pictures will help to inspire you.
