Once we have extracted all the planks, we are going to sand them with a sandpaper or a sander to obtain a smooth surface without roughness. Then align the planks on a flat surface and cut their long with a saw to obtain some boards of different sizes. Next apply 2 dark varnish layers in some of these planks and on the others a clearer varnish to maintain the natural color of the wood. The intention of painting these boards with different kinds of varnish is to play with the colors and the contrasts of the furniture.
