Recently I have found this amazing van fully restored with wooden pallets and other recycled items. The result is excellent and is much better than if the van itself was new, the classic style of the van matches perfectly with the rustic and vintage feel of the pallets, worthy of the Instagram generation that we are living actually.
The van is a Volkswagen T2 High Roof, very popular among fans of the classic campers, there are hundreds of models modified for use as camping vehicles on the internet, so it’s relatively easy to find an orientation to begin restoring one of these models: dedicated pages, forums etc.
Dozens of wooden pallet planks were used to cover each corner of the van, the ground is completely covered, and the kitchen cabinets are made of 100% wooden planks, and even the seat and convertible bed has also been built with the pallets. Under the seat also you can find many places to store useful things, the van space is very limited so any little place that you can take advantage is very welcome.
Another special feature is the 12V fridge, also coated with pallet planks to fit perfectly with the rest of the van decoration.
I love the final result and the cozy feel that the pallets give to the van, making it an excellent place to live for a holiday in search of adventures.
