Today we are going to show you two very colorful ideas for storing your books and stories, 2 bookshelves that use the pallets in a very intelligent, decorative and useful way.
The first idea is a bookcase, who participated in the design competition with pallets of the IADE School of Design in Madrid. The project is called “Turning library” and was designed by Irene Sagués, inspired by the famous “Turning Torso” tower of Santiago Calatrava in Malmö.
The library is built with halves of pallets, which retain their original form, they are stacked by a slight turn as if it were a deck of cards, resulting in a cabinet full of personality. The gaps between the pallets are used as a shelf to store the books. All pallets are painted in different very bright colors.
Definitely a good addition to the library that we have just seen, it would be this other idea made by Claudia Brisa. Just painting and placing a pallet on the floor, we can use them as a support for books and stories, simple but great! Both projects would be the ideal furniture for a nursery or a child’s library.
