Again, and as I had already mentioned, we have a nice project from Koratina. This time it’s a deck-chair made with pallets, matching the sofa in the patio that we saw earlier:

Now I explain you how to build this deck chair:
As you can see we have some simple plans to start to work. First we need a large wooden pallet plus another auxiliary one or several pallets to join them.
We’ll take the big pallet, or 3 pallets joined, and we’ll extract all the planks. Later we are going to post the wooden planks again, but only at the top, leaving a space between plank and planks, as you can see in the picture. However in the last section don’t place any one, it’s where is going to be the backrest. As you can see the original wooden blocks serve to support the pallet deck chair, and also elevate it from the ground.
Now we have to add a parallel grooves where the backrest is going to be supported. To build the backrest it’s similar to the rest of the seat process, you only need to have 3 planks, and unite them with 2 more, placed crossed in the inside, so then it can fit into the seat frame.
Add 2 small strips to rest the backrest on the grooves, fix them using 2 hinges, then also fix the backrest to the seat using 2 more hinges.
The deck chair has already been built, and we only have to paint it with a good exterior paint primer.
A good idea is to add a small side table to the furniture set, you just have to cut a pallet with the measures of the table and fix some planks on the sides. Finally add some wheels or a few pieces of wood to raise it from the ground.
Also two front wheels has been added to improve the deck chair mobility.
As you can see the result is great. If you want we can apply a couple of coats of varnish and protect even better wood.
