Is it difficult for you to reach the utensils and food that are in the top shelves of the kitchen? Your children have difficulties to watch their self in the bathroom mirror when are brushing their teeth? A good solution to these everyday problems is the project that we show you below. It’s a small stool made with pallets that allows you to gain a few inches in height.

The tools and materials that you are going to need are: a hammer, a crowbar or a lever, a saw, a drill, screws, a screwdriver, a measure tape and a pallet.

First extract the pallet planks, if you don’t know how to do it I recommend you to visit this post where I explain how to do it with a couple of videos.

Once we have extracted the pallet planks we’ll cut them with the following measures: 4 planks of 35 cm (13.8 ”) for the side (A) and 4 planks of 25 cm (9.8 “) for the side (C) and, finally, 4 more planks of 30 cm (11.8 ”) for the legs (B). with the planks A and B build the two wooden frames, and then join them with the C planks.

Finally, we will post three planks of 35 cm (13.8 ”) at the top to make the stool seat (D). As you can see in the picture, we have left a little space between every board, to hold the stool with one hand. Thanks to these spaces we will be able to rise it from the floor and move it easily.

A very handy stool not only to reach great heights, we can also use the same system to create stools of different sizes, eg for a bar or a kitchen table.

Do you like this pallet furniture for a bar or a kitchen? Do you want to look for more pallet chairs?
