The “Pirates Day” is a festival that takes place in many towns and cities around the world each year, the festival consists on dressing up as a pirate and talk like a pirate all the day, while you hang out with your family, friends and neighbors. The town of Hastings, at the south of England, is the location that holds the world record of joining together the larger number of pirates at the same time, nothing more and nothing less than 15,000 pirates! where you can find even people dressed as parrots.

Michael Blaney, who belongs to this English town, has always taken very seriously this festival, and this time he decided to build something very special as and ad-on for his costume. He often has the hobby of building nifty things for the holidays like Halloween and Christmas, and this time he created a pirate ship made with wooden pallets. The idea didn’t end there, Michael also planned to use this boat with the intention of raising funds for a charity association.

If you look closely to it, you’ll see that the entire structure and coat of the boat is made with pallet planks.

Great work and an excellent result. Congratulations Michael! A work of art.
