We’re almost there for the scariest and funniest night of the year, where children and adults dress up as monsters, vampires, witches etc, to celebrate the Eve of All Saints Day, November 1. So, we want to show you a good way to set your house for Halloween. This is a pumpkin made with a single pallet, perfect for the garden and the hall of our home. It’s very easy to build and also accessible to all of you who are starting in the DIY world.
The materials and tools that you’re going to need to build this pumpkin are: a pallet, orange acrylic paint, screws, a hinge, a jig saw and a screwdriver.
First, dismantle the pallet and extract the planks. With them we are going to form a table, and with the help of a chalk, draw on it a pumpkin.
Then cut off the planks with the jigsaw, following the pattern that we have drawn, and list them with numbers.
Fix the boards using some crossed planks by the other side, use the screws to fix them.
Also, you have the option to add a leg to the panel made using a hinge and a pallet plank, the furniture will become more stable. The support system is the same as the one of a photo frame.
Finally, apply a layer of orange acrylic paint on the wood and wait for it to dry. Do not forget to also add the pumpkin leaves, you can make them with some pallet pieces, paper, a scarf or even burlap.
And presto! Now you can enjoy your pumpkin for the garden or lounge made with pallets!
