First, the materials and tools you are going to need are: a pallet, a saw, some candles, a hammer, a lever or crowbar, a sander or sandpaper, a 4cm drill (1  1 / 2 ”) or the width of the candle, a c-clamp and wooden glue.

To start building the centerpiece we’ll extract the pallet planks using the hammer and the lever. Then cut them with a saw with the dimensions of 18 cm (11 ”) long and 10 cm (4 “) wide, getting 4 boards to make the centerpiece. Remember you can adapt these dimensions as you like.

Once we have prepared the planks, join them using the wooden glue, one over the other like a small block, then attach them with the help of a c-clamp, so they wouldn’t move until the glue gets dry. Wait a day to make sure the block obtained is completely dry.

When we have the pallet block ready, standardize the edges of the boards, you can do this by cutting them with a good saw or by sanding the sides with an electric sander. Now we can start doing the 5 holes where we are going to place the candles. This can be done with the help of the drill. Then it’s time to sand the top of the centerpiece, eliminating the wooden chips left by the drill.
