The first step is to disassemble a wooden pallet to get the planks that you need, then we’ll cut these planks with the following dimensions: 3 planks of 10cm (4 “), one of 15cm (6”) and a longer one of approximately 53cm (21 “) In any case these measures don’t have to be exact, since the planks of your pallet may be different and modify the final design of the opener.

To start we are going to build a “U” using the 3 planks of 10cm (4 “) and the wood glue.

Then we’ll stick the plank of 15cm (6 “) to the “U” that will be the basis of it.

When we already have this little box you will glue it the long plank, to finally get what is going to be the wooden bottle opener  structure, again glue it.

Once the structure will be already finished, it’s time to screw the opener to it, we’ll help us with the electric screwdriver to fix the opener.

The last detail to finish the opener will be to add the small metal brackets in the most visible corners of the box with screws, this step is optional but it will beautify and strength the opener, so it’s recommended. To fix it to the wall just use a spike like if you we were hanging a picture, and do the same with the bottle opener, you must secure it very well since when you open the bottles these spikes are going to support all the effort.

Do you like this pallet furniture for the kitchen? Do you want to look for more pallet furniture?
