When we dismantle our pallets to make our creations, often we get a lot of wooden blocks and we don’t know how to use them. Perhaps the first impression is that we can’t do anything with them, but the truth is that we can also build amazing things with these wooden blocks, and even get more impressive furniture than with the pallets. I’ll show you a few examples to feed your inquiring minds.
Creating shelves is as simple as fixing the blocks on a wall, we can use them as pedestals for our decorative objects, or align some blocks to create a standard shelf.
Another good idea is to make lamps with them. The process to create a table lamp is very simple: bore a block to install inside a light bulb and extend also a cable using another cavity. We can finally install a lampshade or leave it as it is to give a more industrial feel.
We can use also these holes into the wooden blocks to use them as bowls, ashtrays, pencil boxes or chandeliers! sure you can think of more things…
And speaking about chandeliers… We can glue some blocks and bowls with candles inside them, obtaining different heights we can get an interesting result as the one showed on the picture above.
Finally comment that like the pallets, thanks to its geometric shape, the wooden blocks can configure any idea that we can think, we just have to use our imagination and intelligence. You can even create chairs like the one on the image 😉
