All you need to do this sled is a pallet and some tools!First we must prepare the pallet to transform it to a sled, turn it around and remove the bottom planks, later we’ll use them.
Using a saw cut the pallet in a half, but leaving one of the supports on one side, doing this we’ll have the base structure of the sled.
To fill the gaps we’ll use the planks that we have removed before, if it’s necessary we should cut the boards to fit them inside the gaps. We can fix them to the sled with nails or screws, just as you wish.
To improve the displacement of the sled on the snow, cut the boards of the front part of the sled in orther to have a soft curve on them, just as you can see on the images. So we’ll get the classical design of a sled.
In the picture above the sled has already been finished, and in the below one it has been also sanded and painted. In addition we have added a string to guide the sled.
