This is the house that the architect Macy Miller has built with his own hands in her spare time, also her boyfriend and father have participated. The house is of 18m2 ( 196 square feet) and was built over an old truck trailer, used the wooden pallets planks as the principal material.
Besides the wooden pallets many other materials have been used, and the bigger part of them from recycled origin.
Thanks to this great idea Macy has not had to pay a mortgage, not even building permits as usual, this is because it’s a mobile home, and she only has to license the trailer to be able to drive it on the road, also a much cheaper option.
The total investment to build this tiny house has been only € 10,000 ($ 12,000), and the largest investment that she has made is of € 1,500 ($ 2,000) in the composting toilet.
The house is 100 % self-built, Macey has made the drafts and the plans, the wiring and the wooden boards installation etc… and the house does’nt have any single dead space, everything is exploited to the limit.
