A game that kids will love to play is to have his own shop, imitating the adults they can sell their own crafts, such as bracelets or lemonade made by them, definitely sure they will love it!
A good way to build this stall is using the wooden pallets, you almost wouldn’t anything else to build a small shop like this, it also may be a great pallet furniture gift idea for Christmas or a birthday, a perfect present for your children that also will teach them the importance and the usefulness of recycling.
The first step to get started is to clean and disinfect the pallets perfectly, so then the children will be perfectly safe, remove all the nails that can be dangerous and sand all the annoying chips. You should also disinfect the wood correctly because the pallets could have transported potentially toxic products.
We also need some boards longer either from recovery or purchased origin, with the palles they will be used to build the shop structure that you see in the picture.
Once the structure is already built we are going to cover it with plywood that can be purchased at any carpentry store, you should just fix it to the structural boards. To make the roof you can also do it with plywood, but if you want a waterproof stall I recommend you to use a prefabricated metal or plastic roof as the one on the picture.
Finished the shop then we are going to do the details to embellish it, e.g. we’ll cover the plywood with pallet planks, especially the front of the store, so it will be much nicer. You can also add a small bank like the one on the photo and a counter to let the children play more comfortably.
Finally paint the stall in a vivid colors to give to it more joy, one wall has been painted with chalkboard paint so it can be used as an announcement board where temporary offers can be shown 🙂
And finally your children can use it to play, just give it to your children and they already know what they should start selling.
