We continue today with the step by step guide of how to make a house with pallets, I remind you that this post is a continuation of : Plans and video of how to make a house with pallets ( 1 of 3) So I recommend you that before you continue take a look to the post above. On today’s post I will explain you how to make the walls of the house.
To make them we must first join the pallets like we did with the floor, using the boards obtained from other pallets and adapting them to the structure. We’ll go annexing the pallets until we get the desired lenght for the wall, the height will be of two pallets 6 feet (2 meters)
We have to short 2 of the walls in order to fit later all the walls over the floor, 2 that have to be parallel. The other 2 walls will overlap these that we have shortened.
To do it we have to cut the boards of the end of the walls, we have to cut them with the same measure as the width of the perpendicular wall.
Then we have to extract also the blocks at the ends and introduce them on the boards that we have cut, like you were reducing the pallets. Take a look to the pictures to see all this process clearly.
Finally we’ll cut the boards that go out from the structure to later accommodate the perpendicular wall .
The next step is to place it over the floor, you see how it looks on the photo? You can support it temporarily with other pallets.
Then we’ll put the corner wall to brace it and start fixing it . Use some metal brackets and screws wherever you can. Notice that I’ve left a space for the door in the new wall , simply do not put 2 pallets and join the 2 sides on the top.

We’ll perform the same process with the other 2 walls, as we get the house closed. the walls fit perfectly between them and the floor because we have reduced the length of the 2 walls.
This is the view from the side. Finally we have to nail the covers on the sides of the pallets to hide the holes.
We’ll also use some boards obtained from the deconstructed pallets.
