If you want to decorate your home portal in a simple and economical way here’s a good idea! You just need a pallet and some potted plants. This particular photo was taken in the neighborhood of Hostafrancs, Barcelona. Even in the same city and in a 100% urban area, there’s no problem to decorate with pallets your building façade.
To start you’ll need a wooden pallet, it can be of any type and size, then you can also modify it as you like. In this case the creator has extracted some planks in order to obtain a cleaner furniture.
Then you must set on the structure of the pallet several pots with their respective plants. In this case we have placed some metal pots from IKEA, which already include a plastic plant, so we are going to have 0 vertical garden maintenance. However it’s always better to choose the natural way of course, so you can also plant some seasonal flowers, some herbs, or even some vegetables.
Finally we will set the structure of the pallet on the facade. We’ll fix the pallet to the wall as it was a picture, you just need 2 screw hooks.
The result is excellent and can be combined with many other furniture made from pallets, that would combine all the decor 🙂
