A great decorative option or perhaps a good place to make a vegetable garden can be a green wall. The fact that is vertical and it’s filled with plants makes it a decorative element that takes up very little space, ideal for hanging on a wall, but it can also be used as urban gardening, normally in urban apartments the terrace space is very limited, and this vertical garden can be placed anywhere without bothering us and giving a green touch to the city 🙂
Next I show you how to create it.
Firstly we need a pallet, a plastic fabric and a stapler. We have to staple the plastic fabric on the back of the pallet.
Wrap and staple the sides. Remember also to wrap the lower side but not the upper one of the pallet!
Fold well the sides for a perfect end.
This is the result of our pallet wrapped, now you can put inside soil without it going out of the pallet.
Now fill it with the potting soil.
Next step is to plant our seedlings in the gaps that remain, don’t plant too large plants.
Succulents are very successful because they require a little maintenance. Of course you can also grow vegetables.
Assure yourself that the plant is well planted and the soil compressed, so they can not fall of when we’ll put the pallet upright.
And finally we’ll have our vertical garden made with only one pallet! You can hang it at any terrace or garden or even inside your house, watch it when you water it to not wet the floor.
Recycling and nature, all in one!
