If you wish to know how to easily build a sofa using wooden pallets certainly this is your chance, today I will explain you step by step how built one without any complications, a project suitable for anyone who doesn’t have a great experience in DIY. You can see here the original referenced sofa.
The great advantage of this sofa that makes it so much easier to be built, is that we doesn’t need to modify the pallets to make it.
To get started we need 12 pallets, similar to the ones that you see in these pictures and all of the same dimensions.
We are going to stack 9 of them as it’s shown in the pisture above, in 2 x 3 pallets each.
Then do exactly the same with the third stack, and place them next to the previous stacked pallets at one side, drawing an “L” with the pallets.
Then create the sofa backrest, we’ll have to fix 3 pallets behind the seat that we have created, 2 go on the longest side of the seat and the other one in the shortest side. We can fix these pallets using nails and a hammer.
Here you can see the final result of the sofa structure, now we can sand it and paint or varnish it to improve its appearance. Finally add some cushions, recycled or custom made, both options are excellent.
