I want to dedicate today’s post to the generation of the 80s and lovers of the first Nintendo NES, which marked a big part of our childhood with a new way of entertainment, the videogames. It is a pallet furniture table for the living room whose design mimics the pad of the first Nintendo, with its rectangular shape and the 4 colors that characterize it (gray, red, white and black).

To fabricate it you require the following materials and tools: two pallets, a sander or sandpaper, a drill, a brush, nails, a hammer, a lever, a crowbar, 16 screws and nuts, 4 wheels, paper tape and black, red, gray and white paint.

First, extract the pallet planks below the pallet with a hammer and a lever. Fill the gaps between each board on the pallet top with these extracted planks. If you are need more planks just remove them from the other pallet. Doing this, we’ll form a flat surface that will be the basis for our future Nintendo table.

After reorganizing the boards and the pallets sand them to obtain a smoother texture free of splinters.

Then paint it all the furniture black. When the paint is already dried, we will use our more artistic and creative abilities with the help of the paper tape. With it prepare the template tot paint the NES joystick.

Now paint it in red, gray and white and wait again.

Once we have removed the tape, add some wheels with the help of the screws and nuts, for greater mobility and place the table wherever we want in our living room. This process is optional, depending on your tastes and needs.

The bottom pallet will not be fixed so it will be possible to remove it whenever we want. Inside we’ve installed 2 speakers that will be connected to the TV or the dolby, the experience for videogaming will be even better.

Now we have our Nintendo pallet table ready, which we have combined with another vertical pallet support where is placed the TV. As you can see in the picture, it gives a youthful and original retro-feel to the room.
