Alberto sent us this closet built with pallet planks and black plastic sheets. This is a very light piece of furniture since most of it is covered with these sheets, it’s only the structure of the furniture which is constructed of pallets, so is relatively easy to transport because of its weight.
Because its walls are built with Antinox sheets, it’s quite easy to build compared with other pieces of furniture of the same size, as you will save a lot of time besides of having to be fixing wooden planks. However we’ll have to build the wooden structure, in order to give a solid structure to the cabinet. The polypropylene sheets will be enough to keep the dust out off the furniture, and also you’ll be not able to see what’s inside. I show you now a few pictures with all the construction process.
The furniture was basically built with various wooden frames like this one, we just cut the planks and set them to achieve the desired dimension of each frame.
C-clamps can help us to correctly set the frames, especially if we unite them with wood glue.
Pay attention to the simplicity of the furniture, it has barely wooden pieces to configure it, only the needed ones to draw the structure, hence why it’s so light.
Inside we can put a few shelves also made with planks, in order to properly organize our clothes and maximize the space offered by the closet.
